The Ape will be playing vinyl records - hawaiian, exotica, lounge and surf - and will give each record to a human in attendance once he has finished playing it! The Ape will be joined for a few numbers by two special guest human musicians - Victoria Lundy on theremin, and Ian Gilchrist on surf guitar.
Cover is a mere three dollars!
I hadn't played for a while, but I did a couple songs for an online event.
As it turned out, the last live show before lockdown. Freq Boutique is a modular synth event sponsored by WMD Devices at Ft. Greene in Denver. I brought my Moogerfoogers and my Moog Slim Phatty and fed midi from my laptop to be as modular as possible.
Coming up on Wednesday, July 8: online streaming youtube concert, featuring members of the Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meet. I'll be doing "mood pieces and classical theremin."
I will be demonstrating the theremin and talking about early electronic instruments at WhimsyCon 2020 as part of the presentation "Tunes and Tones of Steampunk," by Lorelei Suzanne, Saturday, Feb. 29, 4:00 PM-4:50 PM.

Radio bursts repeating every 16 days were recently detected by an array of telescopes in Canada. For some reason, theremins were relevant.
