Archives as Muse Exhibit -- theremin performance Oct 27

What happens when archives and history inspire art? What does it look like? How does it sound, feel, or, even, taste? What is the process behind transforming archival materials into new creations?

Featuring new and inspired work from Colorado artists Esther Hernandez, Nathan Hall, Sarah Fukami, Elyssa Lewis, George Perez, Sarah Walsh, John Lake and Sarah Gjertson who all used archival materials as their muse. 

Performances by Esther HZ and Elyssa Lewis at 7:00pm 
& again at 8:00p on the 27th. 

Archives as Muse After Party on the 26th.
Archives as Muse Exhibit Reception on the 27th.
Exhibit runs October 23rd-29th.

I will be accompanying Esther HZ's performance on theremin at the Oct. 27th reception -- 7pm and 8pm
